He Said:Man it is hot today. 38, something like that. Roasting. Spent the bulk of the day at Enerplex, "Kelowna's largest indoor family recreation centre". Possibly the only? It's decent. Climbing wall, trampolines, giant foam square pit, coloring, tube/slide playground. Gillian did the climbbing wall twice; even Ryan gave it a shot. Tried to do a short bike ride at home later, but it became very short. G had trouble with the hills here and it was blazing hot. My phone seems to be toast. It'll turn on, but the battery has now run completely out and I can't seem to charge it. Not sure if it's the phone or the battery, but it ain't working.
She said: Enerplex is great. Perfect for our kids age range - they all had a great time. Was so proud of Gillian on the climbing wall. First time ever for her. Ryan was so sure that he could do it but quickly realized his limitations. Didn't seem at all disappointed. Just kinda matter of fact "nope, I can't do that". He's awesome. Late afternoon naps for most of us - ahhhhhh - and sliders for supper. More Olympics and about 3/4ths of Blazing Saddles - so funny. Gillian had a headache and tummy ache and ended up barfing. Perhaps heat related. Instant relief of headache as soon as she threw up.
