He Said: Today we went to Gyro/Rotary beach, where we met up with our neighbours again.  We ended up spending most of the day there. Rented one of those water tricycles but the enthusiasm for it wore off pretty fast once the peddling started.  We also went to the Dolicious Donuts, then back, where P&S had come home.  Visit visit visit, pizza, end of day. I really waited too long to write these. I can't even think of anything funny to say but for the sake of completeness, here it is.  <insert funny observation here>

She Said: Again, nice to visit with people other than ourselves. Nicole and I had a good visit under the tree while the dad's kept the kids entertained and alive. I found out that Dominos would have delivered pizza to the beach, but we decided not to partake. Good thing, because pizza turned out to be the perfect meal with Phil and Shelley later. It was great to visit more with them before going home. We had worked hard to make sure there house was as nice for them to come home to as it was for us to arrive at in their absence. Brad fixed a hole in the wall and I replaced a broken cup. Shelley and I enjoyed a visit while I had my last glasses of red wine. It turns out that red wine gives me sinus problems. And it was certainly confirmed early the next morning. Thank-you Advil Cold and Sinus! It was nice to have a home with space for all of us to hangout for the week. A hotel feels too cramped for that many days. Gillian did her crafty things, Ryan practiced magic tricks and Mara read. And of course there was TV watching and screen time.  Shelley mentioned that she and Phil had been ill right before and during their camping trip. I think it's likely that I caught whatever they had the other day as well. Sounds like mine wasn't as bad. I got to be reminded of what Phil does for a living. Ha. We hardly ever talk about that stuff so I can't keep it straight. Shelley loves her work and travels a lot. They are good people.
